Colorful Ribbons for Beloved Gurudev on Raksha Bandhan

A Day of Love and Protection

The full moon marked the arrival of Raksha Bandhan, a day dedicated to the bond of care and protection. In the presence of Gurudev, the Jaipur Ashram was filled with colorful threads and happy hearts. Gurudev reminded us that the bond between spiritual siblings often provides the strongest support in life.

Sacred Rituals and Traditions

The ceremony was filled with ancient traditions that represent mutual respect and care. Devotees approached Gurudev one by one to offer their love and receive his protection.

Placing sacred Tilak.

The ritual began with the offering of a Tilak for our beloved Gurudev, a mark of respect and blessing.

"We Do Care" – The Spiritual Family

During the sacred ritual, Gurudev shared a powerful message: "We do care." He offten explained that in our spiritual family, nationality holds no meaning. We all belong to the one family of God.

Tying Rakhi thread.

Following the tilak, devotees took turns tying the colorful rakhi onto Gurudev's wrist, symbolizing their eternal bond.

"Where there is love, there is no distance," Gurudev taught. He encouraged us to cultivate friendships like a vast forest, standing steady for one another in times of need.

Holding sacred coconut.

Along with the ribbons, a coconut was presented as a traditional offering for Gurudev.

He reminded us that true friendship transcends even death, as we are all part of one universal soul.

Final ritual detail.

With a single grain of rice placed upon the tilak, the beautiful Raksha Bandhan ritual was complete.

This celebration in Jaipur was a beautiful reminder that we are never alone. As one family, we continue to walk the path of unity, love, and harmony. Hari OM
