Day 1: Sacred Commencement of Panch Dhuni Tapasya at OM Ashram
With the divine blessings of our revered Gurudev, His Holiness Vishwaguru Mahamandaleshwar Paramahansa Shree Swami Maheshwarananda Puri Ji Maharaj, a rare spiritual journey began today. At the holy land of OM Ashram, Jadan, his successor, Param Pujya Mahamandaleshwar Swami Avatar Puri Ji Maharaj, commenced the sacred Panch Dhuni Tapasya.

Sacred Purification
The first day began with traditional puja and prayers led by five learned pandits. After paying homage to the great masters of our Alakhpuriji Siddha Peeth Parampara, Pujya Maharaj Ji lit the five sacred fires (dhunis). This intense Agni Tapasya is being performed for Gurudev’s good health, global positivity, and world peace.

Deep Meditation and Sacred Rituals
As the ceremony progressed, a central seat was prepared. In a profound act of renunciation, the pandits smeared Pujya Maharaj Ji’s body with sacred ash (Bhasma). While the pandits chanted powerful Vedic mantras, Maharaj Ji entered a state of deep meditation. He remained completely motionless in the lotus position, creating an atmosphere filled with Agni Shakti (fire energy) and Guru Kripa.

The ceremony concluded with the pandits using purifying salts to gently transition Maharaj Ji out of his deep meditative state, followed by the loud, joyous chanting of sacred hymns.

Throughout the ritual, devotees gathered with deep faith to perform parikrama (circumambulation) around the five fires. Chanting together, the community created a powerful vibration of healing and strength.
