On April 26, 2026, the spiritual atmosphere of Jadan, Rajasthan, reached a historic peak as more than 2,500 devotees and guests gathered from around the world. Under the divine blessings of our beloved Gurudev, His Holiness Vishwaguru Mahamandaleshwar Paramhans Shree Swami Maheshwarananda Puri Ji Maharaj, his successor was formally elevated to one of the highest ranks in the Hindu Order of Swamis.

The Eve of the Ceremony: A Silent Transmission of Power
The celebration began on the afternoon of April 25 as high-ranking guests arrived. During a welcoming ceremony that evening, a deeply moving moment unfolded. Our beloved Gurudev, Shree Vishwaguru Ji held the hand of Pujya Swami Avatar Puri Ji Maharaj, transmitting the highest spiritual energies and powers to his successor in a silent but powerful blessing.

Sacred Preparations and Rituals
The morning of April 26 began with prayers at the Shiva Temple. Pujya Swami Avatar Puri Ji Maharaj received the first blessings from Acharya Mahamandaleshwar Shree Swami Vishokanand Bharti Ji Maharaj, the head of the Maha Nirvani Akhara.
Other esteemed leaders, including Acharya Mahamandaleshwar Shree Swami Vishwatmanand Saraswati Ji Maharaj, Shree Mahent Swami Ravindra Puri Ji and Mahamandaleshwar Shree Swami Atmanand Puri Ji, offered prayers at the Dwadash Jyotirlingeshwar Mahadev. They also paid their respects at the Samadhi of our respected Satguru, Hindu Dharma Samrat Paramahansa Shree Swami Madhavananda Ji Maharaj.
The Central Pattabhishek Ceremony
The main event took place on the grand platform of the Conference Center. Under the guidance of sixteen high authorities of the Maha Nirvani Akhara, Pujya Swami Avatar Puri Ji Maharaj received the sacred abhisheka (bath), the tilak, and the traditional turban.

As a formal acknowledgement of his spiritual rank, more than two hundred shawls were presented and wrapped around his shoulders by assembled dignitaries, including Mahamandaleshwar Shree Swami Vishveshwaranand Giri Ji Maharaj, Mahamandaleshwar Shree Swami Devendranand Giri Ji Maharaj, and Mahamandaleshwar Shree Swami Gyaneshwar Puri Ji Maharaj.

The highest authorities of the Akhara gathered to recognize a new era of spiritual leadership.
The title of Mahamandaleshwar recognizes a saint’s role in promoting Sanatan Dharma and universal peace. The leadership noted that Mahamandaleshwar Pujya Swami Avatar Puri Ji Maharaj, with his proficiency in English and Hindi, is a great asset to the tradition. From his adoption as a Manas Putra in 1999 to becoming the Gaddipati (Successor) in 2021, his journey has been one of unwavering devotion to the work of his beloved Gurudev, Vishwaguruji.
