Guru Puja and Paduka Ceremony

JADAN, RAJASTHAN – As the sun rose on Guru Purnima morning, the energy at OM Ashram shifted into deep worship. Devotees gathered early for the most significant part of the festival: the Guru Puja.

Offerings of Devotion

Disciples from near and far honored the Guru’s feet, applied tilak, offered flowers, and sang prayers. The air was thick with the scent of incense and the sound of ancient Vedic mantras.

The Holy Paduka Ceremony

A highlight of the morning was the worship of the Charan-Padukas. These belong to Gurudev's Master, the honorable Satguru Hindu Dharma Samrat Paramahansa Shree Swami Madhavananda Ji Maharaj.
