2nd Varsagandh Mahotsav: Spiritual Wisdom at OM Ashram
The spiritual energy at OM Ashram reached new heights. Devotees gathered to celebrate the 2nd Varsagandh Mahotsav. This event marked the anniversary of the ashram’s opening.
As we celebrated this milestone, our hearts and minds naturally returned to the historic moment of its inception.

Beloved Gurudev at the Om Ashram Opening (2024)
The festival was a profound expression of gratitude to our beloved Gurudev, His Holiness Vishwaguru Mahamandaleshwar Paramahansa Shree Swami Maheshwarananda Puri Ji Maharaj.

Grand Opening of the OM Ashram (2024)
Our beloved Gurudev founded this extraordinary masterpiece. It is the largest building in the world shaped like the sacred symbol ॐ.

Carrying the divine energy from that momentous inauguration forward to the present day, we were honored on this second anniversary to be joined by respected guests: Mahamandaleshwar Shree Swami Chetan Giri Ji Maharaj from Sojat and Mahamandaleshwar Shree Swami Shivsvaroopanand Saraswati Ji Maharaj from Jodhpur.

The celebration began in the serene early morning with a powerful Shiva Abhishek. The Shiva Linga was bathed in Panchamrit—a sacred mixture of milk, curd, honey, sugar, and ghee.

Accompanied by Vedic mantras and prayers, this ritual focused on universal peace and cleansing the hearts of all devotees.

Our distinguished guests arrived during the prayer to join the devotees.

The devotion continued with a moving Puja at the Satguru Samadhi.

Guests and devotees offered beautiful flower malas, feeling the tangible grace of Hindu Dharma Samrat Paramahansa Shree Swami Madhavananda Puri Ji Maharaj.

This act of respect honored the great Masters of the Om Shree Alakh Puri Ji Siddhapeeth Parampara.

Afterward, the celebration moved to the new conference center for a Special Conference. The hall was filled with the vibrant energy of 400 students from Jadan’s Gurukul, who came to listen to the excellent Vedic knowledge of the guests and celebrate common milestones.

Beyond the rituals, the event highlighted the timeless teachings of our great Parampara. Divine Master Shree Deep Narayan Mahaprabhu Ji Maharaj once shared with his close disciple, our beloved Satguru Shree Madhavananda Ji Maharaj, the story of "The Polished Stone’s Journey."

Our Master taught: "The beauty of a smooth river stone is born of a long struggle. The stone only becomes smooth after enduring countless collisions while rolling down a mountain."

This story reminds us to perceive the virtues and strengths of others rather than focusing on their "cracks" or imperfections. To acknowledge the totality of another’s journey is the true essence of compassion.

This Mahotsav served as a beautiful bridge from the "ocean of ignorance" to the "enlightened shores of realization."

Jay OM Ashram! May this divine masterpiece flourish forever under the grace of Beloved Gurudev.
