Divine Light: Christmas Wisdom from our Gurudev

We recently celebrated a wonderful Christmas at OM Ashram. This special day was graced by the darshan of our beloved Gurudev, His Holiness Vishwaguru Mahamandaleshwar Paramahansa Shree Swami Maheshwarananda Puri Ji Maharaj.

The day was filled with joyful anticipation, beginning with a walk with Gurudev under a calm, sunny sky.

The air was sweet with the scent of cookies, and a beautifully decorated tree added to the festive spirit.

In the evening, we gathered for Satsang to sing bhajans and Christmas carols.

Our beloved Gurudev and his successor, Pujya Avatar Puri Ji Maharaj, shared their blessings, wishing peace and happiness to all devotees and people around the world.

Christmas marks the birth of Jesus, a Divine Incarnation or Avatar. He represents the same divine essence as Mahaprabhuji, Krishna, and Rama.

These great Masters manifest eternal Light to guide us toward freedom and beyond our karmas.

Jesus lived a path of universal love and forgiveness, even praying for those who did not support him.

Through his life, he taught the power of humility by washing his disciples' feet, showing us how to let go of the ego to serve others.

Practicing Yoga and meditation helps us understand these divine teachings more deeply.

Our beloved Gurudev teaches us that a Master is like a mirror reflecting the sun’s brilliance.

While the absolute Divine can be hard to see directly, the Master reflects that warmth into our shadows to make the path clear.

May the light of Christmas and the Masters stay in your hearts always.
