Guru Purnima: The Grace of Gurudev’s Darshan

JADAN, RAJASTHAN – The Guru Purnima festival reached its most emotional moment during the final Darshan. After days of ceremony and prayer, devotees gathered for one last glimpse and blessing from their Masters.

The Joy of Arrival

The atmosphere was filled with excitement as the beloved Gurudev, His Holiness Vishwaguru Mahamandaleshwar Paramahansa Shree Swami Maheshwarananda Puri Ji Maharaj, arrived. His face shone with happiness as he looked upon the thousands of devotees who had traveled so far to see him.

Upon his arrival, a special puja was performed to honor his presence. This traditional welcome set a holy tone for the hours of Darshan that followed.

A Divine Reunion

One of the most touching sights was the meeting of the Masters. The crowd watched with deep respect as Gurudev reunited with his successor, Param Pujya Mahamandaleshwar Swami Shree Avatar Puri Ji Maharaj.

Seeing them together represented the continuity of the lineage. Their bond is a source of great strength for the entire global family of the Shree Alakhpuri Siddha Peeth tradition.

The Heart of Darshan

The hall was filled with vibrant colors and devotion. A long line of devotees stretched through the ashram, each person waiting patiently for their turn to offer pranam (salutations).

For Guru Purnima, a long line of people waited for darshan—everyone received Gurudev's blessing.

As each disciple reached the Masters, the joy in their hearts was visible. This personal connection is the "harvest" of a year's spiritual efforts.

A Spiritual New Year

Guru Purnima marks our spiritual New Year. It is a time to reflect on our sadhana (spiritual practice) and renew our sankalpa (resolve). As we leave the OM Ashram, we carry the Gurudev’s light with us.

We resolve to purify our consciousness through kindness, discipline, and non-attachment. The grace received during these days will guide us until we meet again.
