Honoring Our Beloved Satguru: The 62nd Mahasamadhi Anniversary
Recently, we gathered to celebrate a profound moment in our spiritual lineage: the 62nd Anniversary of the Mahasamadhi of our revered Satguru, Bhagwan Shree Deep Narayan Mahaprabhu Ji.
Illuminated by his eternal light, the divine satsang continued throughout the night with bhajan singing, mantra chanting, and listening to his Golden teachings.

Bhagwan Shree Deep Narayan Mahaprabhu Ji is pure light, bliss, and knowledge. His life stands as an eternal testament to his divine nature as the embodiment of Sat-Chit-Ānanda (Truth, Consciousness, Bliss).

This joyful celebration was graced by our beloved Gurudev, His Holiness Vishwaguru Mahamandaleshwar Paramahansa Shree Swami Maheshwarananda Puri Ji Maharaj, founder of the beautiful OM Ashram.

Gurudev lovingly reminded us of his own beloved Guru, Hindu Dharma Samrat Paramahansa Shree Swami Madhavananda Ji Maharaj. who lived for over 40 years with his divine Master, whose glory we celebrate today.

Shree Swami Madhavananda Ji is the author of the invaluable spiritual book Lila Amrit, in which he recorded true stories of the miracles he witnessed while living with his divine Master.

One of the greatest miracles recorded in this book is the story of Shree Mahaprabhuji’s departure.

In early 1963, Bhagwan Shree Mahaprabhu Ji foretold the exact moment of his departure to his closest disciple, Shree Swami Madhavananda Ji.

When asked for a final wish, the devoted disciple asked only that his concentration remain forever fixed on his Guru. Bhagwan Shree Mahaprabhu Ji granted this, promising, "My light and protection will always be with you."

On December 5, 1963, at precisely 5:00 AM, Bhagwan Shree Mahaprabhu Ji fulfilled this pledge. Sitting in deep meditation and chanting OM, he entered Samādhi, guiding his spirit out through the Sahasrāra Chakra (the "door to Brahman").

At that very moment, kilometers away, his close disciple Shree Swami Madhavananda Ji saw a radiant vision of his divine Master ascending to Satya Loka, honored by celestial messengers.

Bhagwan Shree Mahaprabhu Ji demonstrated that the purpose of human life—to achieve Samādhi—is attainable.

Today, we honor Shree Mahaprabhuji's Golden teaching and eternal presence: "My soul is indestructible and immortal... know that I am always with you."

May our beloved Gurudev be always with us.

Jai Gurudev!
