New Temple in Rupawas: A Grand Procession! - Day 1

🌷 Rupawas celebrated the grand consecration! The Shri Maheshwar Mahadev Mandir now stands in the birthplace of our beloved Gurudev, Vishwaguru Mahamandaleshwar Paramahansa Shree Swami Maheshwarananda Puri Ji Maharaj, founder of the incredible OM Ashram.


The first day of Mandir's grand opening commenced with an unforgettable "Shobha Yatra," or sacred procession!

After Rupawas, Gurudev's work rapidly spread worldwide. Beginning in Vienna in 1970, he founded international ashrams and the 'Yoga in Daily Life' system. With 45,000 teachers and 4,000 centers, this system shares his message of peace, health, and environmental care.

Gurudev has traveled the Earth 51 times, globally spreading wisdom of ancient Vedic scriptures, yoga, and peace to millions. He's held 11 World Peace Summits, proudly representing India and its ancient culture, influencing countless people embracing spiritual growth worldwide.

Today we celebrate the inauguration of a new temple in Gurudev's native village. The first day of the celebrations was marked by a colorful procession.

At the Shobha Yatra procession, forty women gracefully carried holy Kalashas, bringing immense blessings and purity to the village and temple.

This majestic, joyous parade (Shobha Yatra) invoked profound auspiciousness, purity, and divine blessings for the new Shiva temple's consecration.

An important chariot was bearing the new temple's idols, symbolically carried through the village by pandits, announcing the imminent inauguration.
