Sharad Purnima at OM Ashram
Joyful singing and dancing recently filled OM Ashram as a group of women from Jodhpur gathered to celebrate Sharad Purnima.
Their devotion beautifully captured the spirit of this brightest full moon.

This full moon is special because it is believed to shine with all sixteen divine arts, or Kalas. A Kala is a personal ability.

While humans are born with four, we have the unique potential to awaken all sixteen through spiritual practice, developing qualities like universal love and compassion.

It is believed that this perfection is embodied by Lord Krishna, who was born with all sixteen Kalas.

According to Vedic legend, this full moon night is famous for his Maha-Raas, a divine dance of love with the Gopis.

Watching the women at OM Ashram celebrate with such pure joy reminded us of this beautiful, selfless devotion.

A evening prayer in the temple also set the divine atmosphere.

Following tradition, sweet Kheer was prepared and left to absorb the moon's healing energy. After the evening prayer, it was shared as blessed Prasad.

This special event showed us that the path to our divine potential is filled with joy and community.

This Sharad Purnima was a truly memorable celebration in the Shiva temple.

May the moonlight of Sharad Purnima fill your life with peace and prosperity. Hari OM
