On 2nd September 2016 was the birthday of Hindu Dharma Samrat Sri Swami Madhavanandaji according to the lunar calendar.
The day of India’s independence
The 69th anniversary of India’s independence was celebrated all over the country, and our Ashram was no exception. The celebration took place in the school courtyard which started with a puja lead by Ashram sannyasis and praying. After that, traditionally, the flag was put up and the national anthem was sung while the students were marching to the beating of the drum.
Peace Tree Planting
A Peace Tree has been planted by Vishwaguruji in the new Sri Devpuriji Ashram, near Dhuna, in Bari Khatu, Rajasthan, India.
Hanuman Jayanti in Jadan Ashram
On Friday 22 April 2016, in the evening of the full moon day in the Indian month of Jyesht, we celebrated the birthday of Hanuman - one of the greatest heroes in India - at our Hanuman Mandir, situated in one of the ashram gates.
