The symbol of the swastika denotes peace and prosperity, good luck and the cleansing of negative energies. This residential building has 4 wings and a number of rooms which have been used over the years as accommodation for European guests, our hostel (boarding) boys and our school principles’ family and other school and college teachers. It contains an inner sanctum which is ideal for conducting programs and some years ago the ashram hosted local women’s education groups on subjects such as health and hygiene and motherhood. Some of the rooms have been used as college classrooms and there is an area from which a kitchen can operate. This whole complex was reconstructed 2 years back. It also has a beautiful dome and roof area which is ideal for the practice of early morning yoga.
