The Ashwin Navratri celebrations at OM Ashram have joyfully concluded. These nine nights, dedicated to the Divine Mother Goddess Durga, culminated in a special Puja at the Shakti Peeth Mandir – the Samadhi of Swami Punya Bharti ji.

The festival was a great success, held with the blessings of our revered Gurudev, His Holiness Vishwaguru Mahamandaleshwar Paramahansa Shree Swami Maheshwarananda Puri Ji Maharaj.

A Havan Ceremony

The celebration was completed with a traditional Havan fire ceremony at the Mata Ji Mandir.

During the Havan, Vedic mantras are chanted as offerings of wood, grains, and ghee are made to the sacred fire.

The Havan fire itself is deeply symbolic. Known as Agni, it represents purification, transformation, and the divine light of consciousness that exists in every heart.
