9th Holy Guruji's Mahasamadhi Anniversary Celebration In Nipal Ashram

The celebration of the 9th Holy Guruji's Mahasamadhi Anniversary took place in Nipal Ashram on Nov 20 and 21, 2012. The Statues of Bhagawan Mahaprabhuji and Paramhansa Madhavanada were inaugurated and many other events were part of exceptional program.

Swamiji said: "Today is the 9th anniversary of our worshiped Gurudev Hindu Dharam Samrat Shri Swami Madhavanand Puriji Maharaj. It took me 9 years to prepare today's celebration. When the time is ripe the proper things happen. We can celebrate the anniversary of Shri Gurudev at any time and any place, but to do it in this particular and magnificent way, at the most auspicious time and in the holy presence of Shri Shankaracharya, Mahamandaleshwars, Mahants and all other saints, to prepare all this took 9 years. I am very pleased and proud that with the help of Nipal and other surrounding villages, all this program became very successful and for this I express my deepest adoration to the lotus feet of Shri Gurudev."

Shri Shankaracharya, Mahamandaleshwars, Mahants and other saints shared during Nipal function rare memories of Holy Guruji's realization and greatness of Om Shri Alakhpuriji Sidha Peetha Parampara.

Shri Shankaracharya said: "At present, Shri Swami Madhavanand Puriji is physically not with us anymore but we shall keep coming to Him because in His subtle form He is still present in this ashram. The unveiling ceremony of His statue was celebrated today, early in the morning. In present times, you can still receive His blessings and energy through worshiping and praying to Him."

Mahamandaleshwars said: "SwamiJi has developed such an ashram in Jadan that ordinary people perhaps cannot understand its importance, only the saints can. Even if you go to Vrindavan, there you will not find an ashram of the kind where so many people come to practice true yoga, bhakti and receive knowledge. They are progressing in their life. When this centre is completed, you should all come there and see it. Perhaps it will become an unprecedented centre in the world, not only in India but in the whole world. All of its credit goes to SwamiJi Maharaj in whom the tapasya, culture, divine qualities and knowledge got manifested through the power of His Gurudev."
