Rupawas Temple: Day Two of Vedic Glory

The Shri Maheshwar Mahadev Mandir in Rupawas recently hosted the second day of its inaugural ceremony. This day was filled with traditional Vedic rituals; it was blessed with numerous Havan and Abhishek ceremonies.

We were honored by the presence of esteemed spiritual leaders, including our beloved Gurudev, Vishwaguru Mahamandaleshwar Paramahansa Shree Swami Maheshwarananda Puri Ji Maharaj,


revered Acharya Nirvan Pithadishwar Mahamandaleshwar Shree Swami Vishokanand Bharti Ji Maharaj, and Gurudev's successor, Pujya Maharaj Ji (Swami Avatar Puri Ji).

Many respected Mahamandaleshwars, Mahants, Acharyas, Sanyasis, and devotees from around the globe were present.

The sacred Yagya Shala was the heart of the day's activities. Lord Agni, the god of fire, presided over the rituals.

All Vedic ceremonies were expertly guided by Acharya Shree Tribhuwan Mohan Ji Panda Rajpurohit of Tripurasundari Temple, Banswara.

He was assisted by Pandit Kapil Ji Trivedi, alongside other respected pandits.

The morning began with profound invocations and worship dedicated to all deities.

It was followed by a ritual Graha Shanti Havan.

Devotees offered prayers for planetary harmony and universal blessings.

A special Laghurudra Havan for Lord Shiva followed. Eleven learned pandits chanted powerful mantras.

They offered rare herbs for the temple inauguration and good health of our beloved Gurudev.

The day concluded with Snapan Karma, a purification ritual for the temple and sacred idols.

Over 251 vessels of water, infused with rare herbs and gems, were used to consecrate the temple and sacred idols.

Devotees formed a human chain, passing vessels of holy water to the top of the temple.

The entire temple was purified with consecrated water.

This cleansing was followed by bathing and anointing the sacred idols.

The idols were then respectfully prepared for the final day of Prana Pratishtha.

The final ritual was the ceremonial placing of the flagpole on top of the temple.

This successful day sets a promising tone for the grand finale.
