The Light of Satsang at OM Ashram
Recently, there was a wonderful spiritual feeling in the Bhakti Sagar hall at OM Ashram. Our beloved Gurudev Bhagavan, Vishwaguru Mahamandaleshwar Paramahansa Shree Swami Maheshwarananda Puri Ji Maharaj, led a Satsang for his devotees from India and from all around the world. The whole room was filled with a beautiful feeling of divine energy, devotion (bhakti), and love.

For everyone there, it was a lovely reminder of the timeless wisdom Guruji has shared with us over the years. It especially brought back memories of his teachings on the sacred day of Guru Purnima. He taught us about the true meaning of the relationship between a Guru and a disciple, and why this festival is so important.

He used to say, "I am so happy to see you at this holy festival." For devotees, Guru Purnima is one of the most significant days in the year. It has a deep meaning: "Gu" denotes darkness, while "Ru" is the light that chases it away. This divine principle, known as the Guru Tattva, awakens consciousness. It is limitless, complete, and pure.

Teachings and gatherings like this are the real reason we visit our teacher on Guru Purnima. It is a day when we offer the results of our spiritual practice (sadhana) to Gurudev and promise to continue on our path.

May the light and blessings of Gurudev guide us on this path. Hari OM
